Liam Gallagher, the former Oasis singer has shot down any rumours about an Oasis reunion in 2025. The 51-year-old, who led Oasis alongside his brother Noel Gallagher from 1991 until their dramatic split in 2009, took to social media this weekend to address the noise.

Reports came to light that the group might be getting ready for a series of reunion gigs in 2025. This news caused huge excitement through the Oasis fan community, who have longed for the Gallagher brothers to reconcile and get the band back on the road.

However, Liam Gallagher was quick to throw cold water on the reunion hopes. In response to a fan query on X (formerly Twitter) about the possibility of Oasis reforming in 2025, Liam replied, “Nobody’s told me maybe they’re getting a new singer like the dude out of Queen (sic).”

Liam’s comment playfully referenced Adam Lambert, who has been touring as the frontman for Queen since 2011. When another fan humorously asked who could replace him as Oasis’s lead singer, insisting “And not Adam Lambert,” Liam quipped, “H from Steps.”
