Kasabian are rumoured to perform a surprise (well not so surprise set now) at this year’s Glastonbury. The band, who faced upheaval in 2020 when former lead singer Tom Meighan left, is poised for a high-profile return at the legendary Worthy Farm.

The band’s dramatic shift in lineup saw guitarist Serge Pizzorno, 43, stepping up as the lead vocalist after Meighan’s departure. Meighan resigned by mutual consent just a day before his appearance at Leicester Magistrates Court on July 7, 2020, where he pled guilty to assaulting his partner, Vicki Ager.

According to The Sun, a source revealed that Kasabian is lined up for a secret set at the festival’s Woodsies site at 6pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024, but we shall see? The source shared, “Glastonbury is always a big deal but this year Kasabian really can’t wait, especially as it’s a decade since they were last there. They loved the idea of being a secret act and jumped at the idea when it was suggested by Glasto boss Emily Eavis.”
